B. Tech CSE is a 4-year undergraduate engineering course on practical and theoretical knowledge of computer hardware and software. The minimum eligibility for this course requires passing class 12th/ Higher Secondary Examination in Physics, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks
Under the 4-year B.Tech in Information Technology Programme, the IT academicians prepare students to learn to programme in a higher-level language, work effectively with a client and members of a software development team to analyse specify design implement test and document software that meets the client s needs. It also prepares students to acquire new computer-related skills independently as technologies evolve communicate technical concepts to non-technical persons, develop a plan to integrate hardware and software into a particular environment and conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
Students who wish to continue studies after completion of their B.Tech. in IT degree can pursue M.Tech. Degree in Information Technology, PG Diploma in Information Technology, M.Sc. in Information Technology, a Certification course in embedded technology, VLSI, robotics, ethical hacking, etc.
1.Passed 10+2 with mathematics and physics as compulsory subject.
2.Obtained at least 45% in 10+2 for Non Karnataka.
3.Obtained at least 40% in 10+2 for Karnataka.
In order to meet BSc eligibility criteria candidates should clear Class 12th in Science stream with minimum 50% - 60% aggregate marks from a recognised board. It may be noted that the minimum percentage required for BSc admissions may vary depending on the policy of a university/ college in which a candidate is applying.
